Pilot Participation Agreement

This Pilot Participation Agreement (“Agreement”) applies to luthiers, builders, and other invitees (“you”) who participate in the ToneProof Pilot Program (“Pilot”). By joining and using a pilot access code, you agree to this Agreement in addition to the ToneProof Terms of Use and Privacy & Data Policy.

1. Experimental nature of the Pilot

The Pilot is a test environment. Features, accuracy, and performance may change over time. ToneProof does not guarantee specific results, uptime, or stability.

2. Use of your data for improvement

By participating in the Pilot, you agree that ToneProof may use:

• instrument photos and metadata you submit,
• verification attempts (including non-matches),
• derived signatures, quality metrics, and match outcomes,

to evaluate and improve the ToneProof system, including future versions of the signature model and quality gates.

3. Instrument ownership and authenticity

You agree that:

• you only enroll instruments you own or are authorized to represent; and
• to the best of your knowledge, the information you provide is accurate.

4. No reverse engineering

You agree not to intentionally attempt to reverse-engineer ToneProof algorithms, models, or internal data structures through scraping, automated querying, or analysis of responses, except to the extent that such a restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

5. Non-reliance for legal or financial decisions

You understand that ToneProof outputs are experimental and should not be used as a sole basis for:

• instrument valuation or pricing,
• authentication for resale or trade,
• insurance decisions or claims,
• legal disputes or evidence.

6. Feedback

Feedback you provide about the Pilot (bugs, suggestions, ideas) may be used freely by ToneProof to improve the product, without obligation to compensate you.

7. Duration and withdrawal

ToneProof may end the Pilot or change its scope at any time. You may withdraw from the Pilot by contacting us and requesting that your account and associated images be removed.

8. Relationship to other documents

This Agreement should be read together with the ToneProof Terms of Use and Privacy & Data Policy. In case of conflict, we may clarify terms with you directly or issue an updated version of this Agreement.
